Priced by what it has to do.
Software is priced by what it has to do, not by a rate card. Every Krapton engagement is quoted in writing, in GBP, for a scope we have understood, and re-quoted in writing if that scope changes. What differs between plans is the shape of the engagement: a fixed outcome, reserved capacity or a longer programme.

Yes. Project-based development is quoted at a fixed price for an agreed scope with milestones and acceptance criteria. Changes are priced separately and agreed in writing.
You reserve a developer or team by the month, full time or part time. They work in your tools and process with agreed overlap hours. Scale up or down monthly as your roadmap changes.
Quotes state whether VAT applies to your engagement. Your finance team can confirm the treatment for your organisation with our written quote.
Fixed-scope projects are typically invoiced by milestone; retainers monthly in advance. Terms are stated on every quote and contract, governed by the law of England and Wales.
Compare a quote with the fully loaded cost of a hire: salary, employer National Insurance and pension, recruitment fees, equipment and the months it takes to fill a role. A retainer gives you capacity next month, not next quarter, and can flex with the roadmap.
